FAQ

What is the difference between competition and recreational teams?

Our competition teams are geared towards performing and competing, emphasizing technique and movement quality. These dancers dedicate more hours weekly to train across various dance styles. In contrast, our recreational teams focus on learning new skills, enhancing coordination, technique, and overall dance knowledge. Recreational dancers perform in recitals, but they do not compete.

Is my dancer prepared for a competition team?

To determine if your dancer is ready for a competition team, consider their drive, commitment level, and ability to handle competition. If your dancer has a strong love for dance and is willing to dedicate extra time for training, they may be ready to take that step!

What time and financial commitments are required for competitive dance?

Commitment levels vary per team. Please visit our Comp Team Agreement Form to review what is required. You may also view our different competition teams here.

What is the difference between Troupe and other competition teams?

Troupe is a program for dancers who want to explore competitive dance without a full-time commitment. It is a stepping stone to our other competition teams, allowing dancers to develop their skills, build confidence on and off the stage, and learn the basics of performance and teamwork. Learn more about our teams here.

What age groups do you offer classes for?

We offer classes for all ages, from preschoolers to 18 years old. For dancers 18 months-2 years, we offer a Mommy and Me class.
