Teams will be EMAILED by June 3, 2023 at 10:00 PM

We are so excited for our tryouts on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 and look forward to growing the DDA Family!  EVERYONE MUST REGISTER FOR TRY OUTS ONLINE -REGISTRATION  is NOW OPEN.. Click the link below to register.  Fill out the registration form online and your card will be charged the $35 non-refundable registration fee (+4% processing fee).  Select the “TRYOUT” class and submit your registration. If you are auditioning for the SENIOR DRILL OPTION (this is at 7:30 PM), please be sure you select that option when registering. Returning students use your email on file to login to your account.  Everyone needs to print and fill out the forms below. Forms 1-3 are required.  Form 4 is optional and for returning comp members only. Form #5 is for high school dancers that are on a HIGH SCHOOL drill team or a cheer team. ***Please DO NOT register for Parade Camp – upon making a comp team, you will automatically be registered for Parade Camp and Fusion.***

• We will take a head shot of you at tryouts -no need to bring one
• There is a $35 tryout fee – click here to register – NOW SOON
• You will be fitted at tryouts for all needed dance attire
• Please come with your hair in a BUN, wearing BLACK dance attire & bring all style of shoes.

MAKE UP AUDITION DAY:
If you have a very good reason that you cannot try out on Wednesday, May 31, 2023-  please call our office.  It is $45 to try out on a different day and your dancer needs to be on our list.  Please email or call our office to add them to the early try out list.   801-444-3535
Date for early tryouts: Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM

Team results will be posted on our website on Saturday, JUNE 3, 2023 by 10:00 pm.

MANDATORY SUMMER for COMP MEMBERS – SUMMER COST 2023
Summer 2023 classes  -June 12-29, July 5-6 (replacing July 13 & 24), July 10-12, 17-31, and August 1-3

Summer 2023 Intensive “FUSION” is  July 14-15, 2023
All of the above are MANDATORY for comp team dancers.  Fees are all included in your summer tuition.

**Note for SOLOISTS – You must turn in your solo registration form on the day of tryouts. Please list your top 3 choices for a choreographer (please don’t just put one). After tryouts, you will be told who your assigned choreographer is. YOU are then hiring that instructor privately, NOT the studio. The studio is not responsible for setting up any arrangements between the soloist and choreographer.   Please remember that solos are for dancers who have been competing (with DDA or another studio) for at least one year.
